THE THEATER
Originally opened in 1926 as The Clark Theatre, Journey Downtown is Journey Coffee Co's all inclusive third wave coffee shop, restaurant, and performance venue in the revitalized Downtown Vacaville theater.
The theater features a state-of-the-art sound system and capacity of up to 450 guests, bringing music, shows, parties, and community events to life right on main street.
Since it’s reopening in 2021, the Journey Downtown Theater has become a must-see Vacaville favorite, attracting touring artists, performers, and fans alike from all over the US.
THE LIBRARY
The Library is a craft cocktail bar like nothing else. This 1915 Carnegie Public Library has been re-imagined into a speakeasy hangout with a cultivated palette and stunning historical details. It’s the perfect rendezvous for a night out, or a pre-show bev and bite.
Enjoy weekly events like live music, comedy, and trivia or explore its collection of books from the Carnegie days.

THE CAFE
This theater-lobby-turned-cafe is maybe the most distinctive of Journey Coffee Co’s roster of unique locations. Just like every Journey Coffee cafe, they serve excellent single-origin coffee & espresso from all around the world, prepared by trained coffee specialists.
The cafe features a full commercial kitchen and a unique extensive menu that’s exclusive to Journey Downtown. Events hosted here have the option of choosing from a wide variety of delicious gourmet catering options.

OFF THE RECORD
This hidden, speakeasy-style room is one of the most distinctive experiences within Journey Downtown. Off the Record is located downstairs in The Library. This space offers an intimate and elevated atmosphere, designed for those who appreciate exceptional whiskey, curated tastings, and memorable gatherings.
While separate from the main cafe, Off the Record is supported by Journey Downtown’s full commercial kitchen and exclusive menu, allowing hosted events to enjoy a wide range of elevated food and gourmet catering options.
